We have a great internship opportunity for
students to gain real world experience here at Art Village. We
are looking for part time studio assistants to invest some time
between the hours of 9:30 am - 8:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Hours are flexible to meet students schedules. These are non-paid
positions, however, as part of our team, students will receive
free studio time to play here as much as they would like.
Skills that will be gained include:
• Working with artists of all skill levels and ages
• Technical aspects of running an arts business
• art program development
• studio organization
• teaching and facilitating classes and workshops
• hands on ceramics studio experience
• designing marketing material
Other opportunities include:
• being part of a team to set the direction of Art Village
and it’s future
• creating new business systems
• mentoring and support
• other programs can be developed if needed for specific
credits.
Majors may include, but not limited to:
Arts Management
Fine Arts
Graphic Design
Education
Business
Communication
