We Welcome New Artists!

We are always looking for new artwork to be included in our gallery to keep if fresh and changing. We are extremely excited to meet artists and to look at work to be included in our gallery.But because Art Village is also a working studio, it can be difficult, without an appointment, for us to meet individually with each artist, give proper attention to their artwork, and maintain a flow for our business. So, instead of drop-in visits, we ask that each artist complete our Artist Consignment Agreement form and bring in images of their artwork. If we think the work would make a good fit to our gallery, we'll ask you to bring in the work.

We reserve the right to review all artwork submitted to Art Village, Inc., and verify that it would work for our present clientele. We strive for excellence in the presentation of all artwork shown with us and work very hard to achieve a cohesive, yet varied look in all artwork displayed. We will keep all images and information on file and when we believe the work would fit a specific show, Art Village, Inc. will call the artist. We ask that you respect our decision to review the artwork and not make a hasty decision. We take pride in the artwork that we show. Art Village, Inc. likes to review the artwork and plan ahead for future shows. No decisions will be made on unannounced visits; all artists will be asked to submit their information.

We ask that you supply Art Village, Inc. with the following:

• Your contact information and images of your artwork: Photographs or CDs of your work are acceptable, but please do not submit slides. We request a detailed description of your artwork. Please specify the selling prices of each piece and remember you will receive 70% and Art Village, Inc. will receive 30% for supplying the space to exhibit your work. A list of your background in art, if any, and an artist statement is also welcomed.
  

• We ask for your patience. Allow Art Village, Inc. time to review your artwork. We may take a couple weeks, or it could be months. But rest assured, we will keep your work on file. You may call or email us to see if we received your package if you sent it by snail-mail or email but no decisions will be made about the artwork at that time.

Upon approval, Art Village, Inc. will contact the artist. We will then set up a time to bring in the artwork. Also, you will be required to fill out the Consignment Agreement that can be printed and completed prior to arriving at Art Village, Inc. We do not limit the type of artwork we take but we do look for a cohesive body of work. We do have a wide variety of patrons that come into Art Village; therefore we ask that artists keep in mind that a wide price range of items is best.
