Art Village, located
in historic downtown Stevens Point, is a great place to have your
bachelorette party. We have a nice private upstairs room, so we
can provide a place where the party can bring their own food and
beverages and music or they can order in as well.
One nice thing is that the ladies are painting pottery which
provides an activity that they can do. Those who don’t know
each other can get to know one another in a relaxed way instead
of the usual way of creating wedding dresses out of toilet paper.
However, if the group did want to do that, that would be fine
too.

Usually when groups come in each lady paints
an item for themselves. Some groups let the bride pick out pottery
(like a set of plates or mugs) and then everyone else paints them
as gifts for her. One group who visited us had the pride pick
the color scheme and let everyone pick the pieces to paint. She
had a nice eclectic set of dinnerware in terms of styles and it
all matched in color.
We’ve had small groups of 4 or 5 and large
groups of 20 or more. We even had one party with four brides at
once. It’s really a great way to spend an evening. It usually
takes about 2 hours to paint so there would be time to go out
afterwards for a night on the town as well. |
